Stripey style

As a bold motif, stripes leave a big impression – whether arranged in chevron patterns, block colours or thin verticals.

Whether in bold blocks of colour or intricate graphic patterns, there’s nothing quite like stripes to energise a room. Depending on the design you choose, striped tiles can be overtly playful or reassuringly classic, so there’s a sure to be design to suit every space. For a subtle take on stripes, try combining a tile such as our Zellige Gloss Ceramic design in a combination of complementary hues, or breaking up a warm, terracotta-coloured floor with striking dark lines, as created below with our Clay Cotto and Black Matt Porcelain tiles.

For a fresh take on a more traditional design, use a slender textured tile like our Alba Sage and White Gloss Ceramic to create a two-tone scheme that’s enlivened by surface imperfections and distressed edges. Alternatively, embrace patterns on a smaller scale: the Outline Décor Ceramic collection features a finely striped design that can be oriented in different directions, an effect that’s also seen in our Carnaby Ceramic tiles, which feature intersecting ridged patterns that create a contemporary textural surface.
