Fila ProGrip is a professional anti-slip treatment designed to improve surface grip and reduce slipperiness, helping to create safer flooring areas without significantly changing the appearance of the tile.

Because the treatment works within the surface itself, it will not wear away with everyday foot traffic like coatings or temporary solutions. This makes ProGrip a long-lasting option for improving safety on porcelain and other hard floor surfaces while maintaining their natural look and finish.

It is suitable for a wide range of residential and commercial applications, including:

Bathroom porcelain floor tiles where extra grip is needed
Wet rooms and walk-in showers
Kitchen floors prone to spills and moisture
External porcelain patios and pathways exposed to rain (especially non R11-rated surfaces)
Pool surrounds and spa areas

Determining contact time

Given the diversity of materials, the most suitable contact time must be determined by running a test on an unlaid tile or a limited and hidden area. Protect the adjacent materials and areas not being treated. PROGRIP takes effect after just one minute. After running the 1-minute test, if more time is required the test may be repeated with progressively longer contact times.

Preparing the surface

Prepare the surface for treatment by washing according to the type of dirt on the surface (e.g. DETERDEK PRO for limescale or cement encrustation, or PS87 PRO for organic dirt or film caused by improper maintenance). For easier application, split the surface into areas between 1 and 3 m2, taking care to delimit the area at the joints.

Application

Apply PROGRIP to a clean, dry surface using a fleece pad or white pad and leave for the determined contact time, ensuring the surface stays wet throughout. Then clean with a liquid vacuum cleaner or remove the residue with a cloth or mop. Rinse thoroughly with water and move to the next area. It is important to apply the product to all areas being treated for the same length of time and with the same method in order to achieve even results.

After treatment, we recommend a neutralising wash using CLEANER PRO (diluted 1:200 or 25 mL in 5 litres of water) and a white pad on the entire treated surface.

Most deliveries take place between 8:00 am and 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday, excluding Bank Holidays.
Delivery charges depend on the size and weight of your order and are shown separately from product prices to keep our tiles competitively priced.
Palletised deliveries to most England and Wales postcodes are between £54 – £66 per pallet (including VAT) depending on weight but this does exclude certain postcodes.
Parcel delivery charges (UK mainland only, including VAT):
Up to 5kg – £4.94 | Up to 10kg – £7.94 | Up to 20kg – £9.95
A.M. deliveries (8:00 am–1:00 pm) are available for an additional £18 + VAT, subject to area.

Further information

Someone must be available to accept, sign for, and safely store the goods, which the driver will place at the nearest accessible point, such as the driveway or kerbside.
Special orders, slabs, large-format tiles, some bathware, and sizeable orders are usually delivered using specialist off-load vehicles, which may increase delivery times.
UK Mainland deliveries exclude the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, and the Scottish Highlands, please contact our Sales Team for these areas.

Returns

We hope you love your Mandarin Stone products, but if not, we offer a 30-day returns policy.

Goods must be returned within 7 days of receiving authorisation.
Return address: Mandarin Stone, Unit 1 Wonastow Road Industrial Estate, Monmouth, NP25 5JB.
All returns must be scheduled in advance and made between 8:30 AM and 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
Please clearly mark the returns number on all packages, boxes, crates, and pallets.
Tiles are fragile, so please ensure packaging is secure; refunds will not be issued if items or packaging are returned in unsaleable condition.
Refunds for resalable goods will be processed within 10 days, minus a 20% restocking fee.
