A family business

Mandarin Stone is a family-run business based in the rolling hills of Monmouthshire, Wales.

The company was founded over 30 years ago by Alma Small, whose passion for – and knowledge of – natural stone is still the foundation of the business.

Always innovative

Our unrivalled collection has grown considerably over the years to encompass timeless favourites as well as brand-new discoveries. More recently, the introduction of man-made porcelain tiles has enabled us to present the most innovative and exciting wall and floor surfaces to the UK market, placing Mandarin Stone at the forefront of interior design.

Growing strong

Today,  Alma’s business – first launched from the back of her estate car – is powered by a workforce of over 220 people. True to our family-run ethos, every single person plays a vital role, from those behind the scenes to the technical experts and sales teams across our 16 inspiring showrooms.
