About the role

We are recruiting an Attendance & Payroll administrator to support our HR and Payroll functions and ensure the smooth running of our absence reporting and payroll processing.

This role is central to supporting colleagues, by managing the company’s attendance process, onboarding process and training activities. You will work within the HR department, working closely with the Payroll department, line managers and employees at all levels. Pivotal to payroll process is to ensure an accurate and efficient process, to maintain employee records.

Key duties will be:

– Maintain accurate attendance and absence records
– Manage the attendance and absence process daily, every morning
– Support managers and employees with attendance related queries, including return to work meetings
– Daily and monthly data entry into our payroll system
– Support payroll compliance
– Maintain HR systems and spreadsheets in accordance with department processes
– Any additional administrative duties required within the department

About you

– Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
– Confident using Microsoft excel
– Strong communication skills
– Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
– A proactive and approachable manner

Working hours

Office hours are 8:00 am to 12:00 pm Monday to Friday. You may be required to work additional hours, as necessitated by the needs of the business, particularly during annual leave and payroll processing dates.
We are closed on Sundays and Bank Holidays.

About the role

The main purpose of the role is to maintain the office administration responsibilities for the fabrication department. The successful candidate will offer high levels of accuracy to the department and be flexible with a hands-on approach to support the team.

Duties include:

– Process quotations, proforma’s and sample requests in an accurate and timely manner, ensuring the correct checking procedure has been adhered to
– Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of all Mandarin Stone products
– Assist with administrative duties associated with purchasing from external suppliers
– To process orders, job sheets and despatch paperwork accurately
– Ensure daily paperwork is fully notarised and up to date for order processing
– Liaise with the logistics department to book deliveries

About you

– Experience reading drawings
– IT literate
– Have a good understanding of Maths and English
– Excellent time management and organisational skills
– Attention to detail is critical to this role
– Confident communicator both verbally and written
You do not need prior industry experience before you join as we provide on the job training. We look for people who are motivated, can work independently and as part of a team and good time management.

Working hours

Monday to Friday 8.00am – 5.00pm

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Head of Fabrication to lead and develop our specialist fabrication department. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing production operations, sales support, administration, quality control and continuous improvement across our growing fabrication department.
The successful candidate will play a key role in growing the department through innovation, efficiency, and the use of modern fabrication technology, while ensuring exceptional quality and customer service standards are maintained.
A relocation package may be available for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities:

– Oversee the production by working closely with the Production Manager on the day-to-day fabrication of stone and porcelain products, including bespoke countertops, slabs and custom pieces.
– To help Plan, schedule, and prioritise production to meet project deadlines and customer expectations.
– Support production where required.
– Assist the office staff with quotations, AutoCAD drawings, and generating new business opportunities.
– Lead, supervise and develop the fabrication, sales and administration teams through coaching and performance management.
– Ensure high standards of quality throughout the fabrication process, resolving issues efficiently and minimising errors.
– Manage stock levels, material usage and fabrication supplies while controlling waste and departmental costs.
– Monitor workflow efficiency and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
– Ensure all Health & Safety procedures, machinery maintenance and housekeeping standards are consistently maintained across the department

About you

Experience:

– Proven experience in stone or porcelain fabrication / production, ideally in a supervisory or managerial role.
– Specialist knowledge of porcelain properties, limitation and best use applications.
– In depth knowledge of porcelain properties, handling and fabrication techniques.
– Hands on fabrication and machinery programming experience
– Auto CAD knowledge and experience interpreting technical drawings
– Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to train and motivate a team.
– Excellent attention to detail, organisational ability and problem-solving skills.
– A commitment to health & safety and maintaining high quality standards.

About the role

The main purpose of this role is to provide customer service and support for clients, guiding them through the buying process right from the first visit through to advice on laying the tiles once delivered with a truly consultative approach.

Duties include:

– Providing expert advice about our range of products to meet the design brief of the client.
– Seeking solutions to customers tile projects, seeking out the best product from our range.
– Building client relationships; following through the sale from the initial enquiry, through the order process to organising delivery.
– Work as part of a fast paced and close team offering product and technical advice.
– Answering customer calls, confirming orders, dealing with email inquiries, processing payments, arranging samples to be dispatched, chasing sales leads and providing after service.

About you

You do not need prior industry experience before you join as we provide a comprehensive training programme to familiarise you with our product range. Having a creative flair with an eye for colour would be an advantage.

We look for people that thrive in a sales and customer focused environment and pride themselves on providing the highest level of customer service to secure the deal. The successful candidate will need to be self-motivated, sales driven, have the ability to prioritise tasks, have excellent communication both written and verbally, high levels of organisation and be computer literate with a good understanding of basic maths.

Working hours

Showroom Opening hours are 9.30am – 5.30pm Monday to Saturday and 11.00am – 4.00pm on Sundays. We are closed on Bank Holidays.
We are looking for a Sales Consultant to work 3 to 4 days per week, which includes weekend working. Flexibility to cover days off and holiday would be an advantage.
