The role of a Sales Consultant is predominantly to provide Customer Service and support for clients as they browse the extensive range of products displayed within our showrooms, guiding them through the buying process from the first visit through to advice on installing materials once delivered.

Duties include, providing advice and guidance on products, design ideas, raising quotations, dealing with telephone queries, dealing with issues as they arise, taking payment on orders, booking deliveries and much more.

No previous industry experience is necessary; all we ask for is someone who ideally has experience working in a customer service environment. Duties include the unloading and checking of deliveries, ensuring the expected quantity and quality is checked, updating our SAP inventory system when goods have been delivered and liaising with the Imports Department regarding future deliveries.

In addition, you will have good attention to detail, a methodical approach to work, the right attitude and ability to communicate detailed information verbally and by email.

A forklift licence is desirable, but not essential as internal training can be provided.

Duties include:
• Providing general cleaning and sanitation services across the site, including landscaping duties
• Collection and organisation of recycling and skips
• Assisting with the movement of stock

About you

The successful candidate must be able to work well in a team but also independently. They should be able to use their own initiative and be organised and proactive in their approach. In addition, they must adhere to all safety measures and procedures.

A Counterbalance Fork Lift Truck licence is essential.

We have 14 showrooms across the UK and are currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join our team on a part time basis, on a job share with an existing member of the team.

The main purpose of the role is to support the day to day running of the Accounts department. Duties include, processing supplier invoices, reconciling statements and resolving queries, paying suppliers according to agreed payment terms, entering purchase orders onto SAP, administering petty cash and recording expenditure, recording daily sales sheets onto SAP, monitoring credit card sales and reconciling back to the card provider’s portal, sales invoicing and resolving customer queries, production of customer statements, reconciling the bank account on a daily basis, monitoring sales orders and housekeeping to ensure all sales order are cleared down.

About you

The successful candidate will need to be self-motivated, computer literate with a good understanding of accurate record keeping and good excel skills.

Working hours

Working hours will be 10 hours per week scheduled across 2 days, of which you will work 5 hours each day.
