About the role

The role of a Sales Consultant is predominantly to provide Customer Service and support for clients as they browse our extensive range of products, guiding them through the buying process from the first visit through to advice on installing materials once delivered.

Duties include, providing advice and guidance on products, design ideas, raising quotations, dealing with telephone queries, dealing with issues as they arise, taking payment on orders, booking deliveries and much more.

About you

We look for people that thrive on working in a customer focused environment and pride themselves on providing the highest level of customer service. The successful candidate will need to be self-motivated, well presented and computer literate.

No previous industry experience is necessary; all we ask for is someone who ideally has experience working in a customer service environment. As part of your role as a Sales Consultant you would be expected to travel between showrooms to provide cover therefore a full driving licence and your own transport is essential.

In return Mandarin Stone offers an excellent basic salary, a non target driven environment with the emphasis on Customer Service, optional Pension Scheme, four weeks holiday per year, increasing with length of service, Bupa healthcare after a qualifying period, excellent working conditions and travel costs when travelling beyond your remit.

About the role

Mandarin Stone is a leading importer of natural stone and porcelain products in the UK. We are a family run business that has grown into a very successful and reputable company within the industry. Our Head Office is based in the beautiful Wye Valley in the Welsh border town of Monmouth.

We have 14 inspirational showrooms across the UK and are currently recruiting for an experienced SAP Technician to join our expanding team.

The main purpose of the role is to work within our inhouse team and alongside third parties to assist with the overall running, maintenance and ongoing improvement of the company’s ERP system.

Duties include:
• To assist with the provision of user support with day to day queries.
• Collaborate with departments to create and implement proactive processes, reports and documentation within all marketing, stock and financial modules.
• Proactively planning for future training requirements, ensuring the successful adoption of updates to the system and/or working practices.
• Project planning to ensure that best practice is adhered to and that any requirements integrate with current and/or future software implementations whether within current set-up or as part of ongoing improvements via adoption of additional modules within the ERP or connected software.
• Monitor and maintain integrations of third party software and platforms with the ERP.
• Create reports within the ERP using Crystal Reports and / or similar data manipulation software.

About you

We look for people who have a positive outlook who have the ability to work independently to tight deadlines, and has experience of working with multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, with strong interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on accuracy and detail
• Curiosity in technical innovation and able to learn new technologies quickly
• Ability to work creatively and flexibly to resolve issues quickly and at short notice
• Ability to work remotely and across remote (UK) locations as and when required.

Essential skills and experience:
• A broad working knowledge of SAP Business One
• At least 5 years of experience in implementing and Supporting SAP B1
• Good understanding of SQL and ability to develop SQL / procedures
• Strong skills in Boyum B1Up and ability to develop macros

Non essential Skills and experience:
• Good understanding of BPA Codeless Platform, Power BI and WMS systems an advantage though not essential

Working hours

8.00am – 5.00pm Monday – Friday
Closed Bank Holidays
Some weekend work as required

Our Head Office is based in the beautiful Wye Valley in the Welsh border town of Monmouth. We have 14 inspirational showrooms across the UK and are currently recruiting for a Fabrication Administrator to join our in-house Fabrication Team.

Duties include:
• Process quotations, proforma’s and sample requests in an accurate and timely manner, ensuring the correct checking procedure has been adhered to
• Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of all Mandarin Stone products
• Assist with administrative duties associated with purchasing from external suppliers
• To process orders, job sheets and despatch paperwork accurately
• Ensure daily paperwork is fully notarised and up to date for order processing
• Liaise with the logistics department to book deliveries

About you

We are looking for the below experience and skills:
• Experience reading drawings
• IT literate
• Good numeracy and literacy skills
• Organised
• Attention to detail
• Confident communicator

Working hours

8.00am – 5.00pm Monday – Friday
9.00am – 12.30pm alternate Saturdays
