Our ever-popular Dijon Tumbled Outdoor Limestone is now available with an additional sandblasted finish. The combination of sandblasting and tumbling gives our “heritage finish” which lightens the stone and gives a texture to the surface too. This texture offers extra traction for external use whilst still allowing for either contemporary or classic design schemes. In colour, the stone is a soft, creamy tone reminiscent of traditional English limestone. Use in conjunction with the same format inside (F/Lx600x18mm) for a continuous look inside and out.

Limestone is a natural sedimentary rock formed over millions of years from compacted shells, sediments, and organic materials. Because it’s a natural material, you might notice some small imperfections like edge chips, surface pits, veining, or filled cracks, these just add to its charm and character.

External tiles are specially designed with a rougher or more textured surface to provide better grip and reduce the risk of slipping, especially in wet or exposed areas like patios, pathways, or pool surrounds. This added texture makes them a practical and safe choice for outdoor use, where surfaces are more likely to get wet or dirty.

Sealing outdoor limestone is a matter of personal preference, often influenced by the specific conditions of the site. Many homeowners opt to leave the stone unsealed, allowing it to weather naturally and develop a distinctive patina over time, which enhances its organic character. If you prefer to seal the limestone, we recommend Fila MP90 Eco Xtreme.

Delivery

We offer fast, reliable delivery across the UK & Ireland using our own specialised fleet alongside an external pallet service.

Delivery availability & charges

  • Orders are typically delivered within 3-5 working days, with delivery date and costs confirmed at checkout.

  • Most deliveries take place between 8:00 am and 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday, excluding Bank Holidays.

  • Delivery charges depend on the size and weight of your order and are shown separately from product prices to keep our tiles competitively priced.

  • Palletised deliveries to most England and Wales postcodes are between £54 – £66 per pallet (including VAT) depending on weight but this does exclude certain postcodes.

  • Parcel delivery charges (UK mainland only, including VAT):
    Up to 5kg – £4.94 | Up to 10kg – £7.94 | Up to 20kg – £9.95

  • A.M. deliveries (8:00 am–1:00 pm) are available for an additional £18 + VAT, subject to area.

Further information

  • Someone must be available to accept, sign for, and safely store the goods, which the driver will place at the nearest accessible point, such as the driveway or kerbside.

  • Special orders, slabs, large-format tiles, some bathware, and sizeable orders are usually delivered using specialist off-load vehicles, which may increase delivery times.

  • UK Mainland deliveries exclude the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, and the Scottish Highlands, please contact our Sales Team for these areas.

  • For overseas orders, email enquiries to [email protected].

Returns

We hope you love your Mandarin Stone products, but if not, we offer a 30-day returns policy.

  • Goods must be returned within 7 days of receiving authorisation.

  • Return address: Mandarin Stone, Unit 1 Wonastow Road Industrial Estate, Monmouth, NP25 5JB.

  • All returns must be scheduled in advance and made between 8:30 AM and 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

  • Please clearly mark the returns number on all packages, boxes, crates, and pallets.

  • Tiles are fragile, so please ensure packaging is secure; refunds will not be issued if items or packaging are returned in unsaleable condition.

  • Refunds for resalable goods will be processed within 10 days, minus a 20% restocking fee.
