A deep, almost burgundy brown riven sandstone that is reminiscent of many traditional English stones so will work perfectly in an array of external applications. An authentic riven surface offers excellent grip and this sandstone flagstone will weather perfectly overtime.
When fixing a material externally, the choice of whether to seal or not becomes one of personal preference combined with considerations of the installation environment. Many people choose to leave the stone tiles unsealed and let it weather naturally with time. As it weathers the stone will gain character and develop a look all its own.
If sealing is required then Fila MP90 Eco Xtreme should be used, although it is imperative that adequate provision for drainage is allowed. Sandstone is an extremely porous material so if sealing, a large quantity of stone tile sealer will be required.
