Mandarin Stone x Lick

One house, three bathrooms, three takes on colour

Every room can tell its own story. This Victorian home shows exactly how.

The most considered homes aren’t necessarily the most coordinated ones. In this Victorian family home, designer choices across these three bathrooms show how different materials and colours can each feel completely at home together.

Distinct in mood, coherent as a whole. All tiles from Mandarin Stone, all paint from Lick.

Compact and characterful. Zellige Sage Gloss Ceramic fills the main feature wall with colour and texture, its natural variation catching the light differently across every tile. Sage green bathroom tiles have become a real favourite for exactly this reason, bringing warmth and calm without overwhelming a small space. Paired with Lick’s White 05, the room feels fresh without losing any of its character. Simple fittings in black keep it grounded.

Softer and more refined. Hoxton Peach Gloss Porcelain lines the walls in a warm, blush tone, while Ceppo Sicilia Honed Marble underfoot and in the niche introduces the quiet depth of natural stone. Brushed brass fittings tie the two surfaces together, warming the palette and keeping the combination feeling resolved. Layered but never overpowering.

White Emperador Honed Marble and Violetta Polished Marble bring subtle veining and natural light to the shower, while Moleanos Honed Limestone underfoot keeps the whole room feeling calm and grounded. Of the three spaces, this is the most pared back, letting the marble do the talking.

Different rooms, different moods. In each one, tile and paint doing exactly what they do best. Explore our full Zellige tile collection or browse our marble to find your own combination. For more inspiration from real homes, explore our MyMandarin gallery.
