Ceramic pencil trims are decorative finishing pieces designed to provide a neat and refined edge to tiled walls. These trims are primarily intended for wall use and are ideal for framing tiled areas, creating borders, or neatly finishing exposed edges.
Installation
- Adhesive: For optimal results, use a suitable adhesive formulated for ceramic tiles.
- Grout: We offer a wide range of Ardex tile grouts that are flexible, water-repellent, and available in various colours, ideal for coordinating or contrasting with your tiles.
- Sealing: Ceramic pencil trims do not require sealing, though applying a grout protector is recommended to help maintain grout lines over time.
Maintenance
Clean using a pH-neutral cleaner to maintain the finish. Avoid abrasive tools or harsh chemicals, as these may damage the glazed surface or affect surrounding grout.
We offer fast, reliable delivery across the UK & Ireland using our own specialised fleet alongside an external pallet service.
Delivery availability & charges
- Orders are typically delivered within 3-5 working days, with delivery date and costs confirmed at checkout.
- Most deliveries take place between 8:00 am and 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday, excluding Bank Holidays.
- Delivery charges depend on the size and weight of your order and are shown separately from product prices to keep our tiles competitively priced.
- Palletised deliveries to most England and Wales postcodes are between £54 – £66 per pallet (including VAT) depending on weight but this does exclude certain postcodes.
- Parcel delivery charges (UK mainland only, including VAT):
Up to 5kg – £4.94 | Up to 10kg – £7.94 | Up to 20kg – £9.95 - A.M. deliveries (8:00 am–1:00 pm) are available for an additional £18 + VAT, subject to area.
- Most orders are despatched at least 48 hours before the scheduled delivery date, so we may be unable to make changes or cancel an order once it has entered this process.
Further information
- Someone must be available to accept, sign for, and safely store the goods, which the driver will place at the nearest accessible point, such as the driveway or kerbside.
- Special orders, slabs, large-format tiles, some bathware, and sizeable orders are usually delivered using specialist off-load vehicles, which may increase delivery times.
- UK Mainland deliveries exclude the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, and the Scottish Highlands, please contact our Sales Team for these areas.
- For overseas orders, email enquiries to exports@mandarinstone.com.
We hope you love your Mandarin Stone products, but if not, we offer a 30-day returns policy.
- We’re unable to accept returns on used products, fixing materials, goods purchased over 30 days ago, bespoke or special order items, end-of-line products, or damaged goods not reported within the required timescales.
- Goods must be returned within 7 days of receiving authorisation.
- Return address: Mandarin Stone, Unit 1 Wonastow Road Industrial Estate, Monmouth, NP25 5JB.
- All returns must be scheduled in advance and made between 8:30 AM and 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
- Please clearly mark the returns number on all packages, boxes, crates, and pallets.
- Tiles are fragile, so please ensure packaging is secure; refunds will not be issued if items or packaging are returned in unsaleable condition.
- Refunds for resalable goods will be processed within 10 days, minus a 20% restocking fee.
