The Wexford Grey Porcelain Tile is an authentic looking, flagstone-effect, large porcelain tile available in both an internal and external thickness. Offering all the charm of traditional Yorkstone paving slabs whilst being extremely hard-wearing and durable.

Surface texture and shade variation add to its traditional appeal, and whilst the edges of the 10mm internal porcelain tile appear slightly distressed, they are actually straight. The edges of the external (20mm) format are visually antique yet both finishes complement each other beautifully in an inside/out combo.

Please note: The Wexford 900x600x10mm tiles have a straight-cut edge for a sharp, modern finish with minimal grout lines. The 900x600x20mm tiles, however, feature a wavy, antique-effect edge that creates a more rustic, time-worn look. This subtle edge variation adds character and influences the overall feel of the installation.

Due to the nature of porcelain tiles and production methods used, all sizing is nominal and a degree of variation in exact dimensions listed should be expected and can also vary across different batches of tiles. Whilst this is minimal, it can become more noticeable on larger format tiles so we would suggest using a wider grout joint to help disguise this.

As porcelain tiles are fired, they can bow or warp slightly. To avoid emphasizing this warpage, larger tiles should not be ‘brick-bonded’ and only staggered by a maximum of 20-30% of the length and/or using ‘Levelling Clips’ such as the RLS Vite system should be used to help minimise the tile lipping.

Installation

  • Adhesive: For the best results, use a high-performance adhesive specially formulated for the dense composition of porcelain tiles.
  • Grout: We provide a broad selection of Ardex tile grouts that are flexible, water-repellent, and available in a wide range of colours, perfect for matching or contrasting with your tiles.
  • Sealing: While porcelain tiles themselves do not require sealing, applying a grout protector is recommended to help safeguard the grout lines.

Maintenance
Use a pH-neutral cleaner like Fila Cleaner to maintain your tiles. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive tools that could damage the surface.

Delivery

We offer fast, reliable delivery across the UK & Ireland using our own specialised fleet alongside an external pallet service.

Delivery availability & charges

  • Orders are typically delivered within 3-5 working days, with delivery date and costs confirmed at checkout.

  • Most deliveries take place between 8:00 am and 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday, excluding Bank Holidays.

  • Delivery charges depend on the size and weight of your order and are shown separately from product prices to keep our tiles competitively priced.

  • Palletised deliveries to most England and Wales postcodes are between £54 – £66 per pallet (including VAT) depending on weight but this does exclude certain postcodes.

  • Parcel delivery charges (UK mainland only, including VAT):
    Up to 5kg – £4.94 | Up to 10kg – £7.94 | Up to 20kg – £9.95

  • A.M. deliveries (8:00 am–1:00 pm) are available for an additional £18 + VAT, subject to area.

Further information

  • Someone must be available to accept, sign for, and safely store the goods, which the driver will place at the nearest accessible point, such as the driveway or kerbside.

  • Special orders, slabs, large-format tiles, some bathware, and sizeable orders are usually delivered using specialist off-load vehicles, which may increase delivery times.

  • UK Mainland deliveries exclude the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, and the Scottish Highlands, please contact our Sales Team for these areas.

  • For overseas orders, email enquiries to exports@mandarinstone.com.

Returns

We hope you love your Mandarin Stone products, but if not, we offer a 30-day returns policy.

  • Goods must be returned within 7 days of receiving authorisation.

  • Return address: Mandarin Stone, Unit 1 Wonastow Road Industrial Estate, Monmouth, NP25 5JB.

  • All returns must be scheduled in advance and made between 8:30 AM and 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

  • Please clearly mark the returns number on all packages, boxes, crates, and pallets.

  • Tiles are fragile, so please ensure packaging is secure; refunds will not be issued if items or packaging are returned in unsaleable condition.

  • Refunds for resalable goods will be processed within 10 days, minus a 20% restocking fee.
