Grand revival

Painstakingly Restored by owners Donna Ida Thornton and Robert Walton MBE, this 16th-century country house is now a beautifully designed South Devon escape. The couple enlisted the help of Apponyi Design for the interiors, which feature an array of Mandarin Stone designs throughout including our Rosso Di Scacchi Tumbled Marble, which was used to create the kitchen’s chequerboard floors.

Our Di Scacchi Tumbled Marble Provides an authentic chequerboard floor to this beautifully decorated space. The monochrome tones perfectly contrast against the warmth of the walls.
