The Spring Edit

A lighter approach to colour, texture, and everyday spaces

Spring starts at home. As the days get longer and the light shifts, it’s a good time to rethink the spaces we use every day.

Softer colours, warmer tones, and finishes that feel approachable and light — all brought together for the season ahead.

This season leans into lightness. Spaces feel more open, colours soften, and materials take on a subtle role. It’s less about changing everything, more about small shifts that refresh how a room feels.

Soft colour, easy contrast

Think pale blues, chalky greens, and warm, sun-washed neutrals. Colours that don’t overwhelm — they sit quietly and let the space breathe.

Powder blue stands out this season. Toledo Terrazzo-Effect Porcelain brings subtle movement, while the soft gloss of Zellige Sky Gloss Ceramic catches and reflects the light. Alongside it, Zellige Sand Gloss Ceramic introduces warmth and softness.

There’s also room for something more playful. A chequerboard in Jude Pink and Jude Apricot Gloss Ceramic adds contrast without feeling heavy, while Briquette Green Gloss Ceramic Mosaic introduces a deeper tone that still feels fresh.

Tone and texture

Colour sets the mood, but finish shapes how a space feels. Gloss surfaces catch the light and bring movement, while more matt or textured tiles soften it. Sitting next to each other, they create contrast without feeling busy. This works well in smaller areas — a splashback, a basin wall, a kitchen corner.

Out into the open

As the weather settles, it’s a good time to rethink terraces and garden areas. Softer, earthy tones and natural textures sit easily outside and age well over time. Fossil Buff Cobbles, laid in a double half-bond, bring structure and warmth underfoot. Dijon Tumbled Limestone Crazy Paving introduces a more organic feel, with irregular shapes and soft, aged edges adding movement and variation.

Whether it’s a full patio or a smaller section, these materials bring a sense of calm and continuity — inside and out.
